I have wagered on millions of rounds of chemin de fer. I began working my way into the gambling dens when I was sixteen. I have played online 21, I have counted cards, and worked as part of a team for a little while. With all that said I have still spent all kinds of cash at blackjack. The casinos have made it basically impossible to beat the house.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a regular basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a variation of chemin de fer called "The Take it Leave it Method". You definitely will not get rich with this tactic or beat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is built on the fact that vingt-et-un seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your hot, and when you are not you are NOT!
I gamble with basic strategy blackjack. When I don’t win I wager the table minimum on the subsequent hand. If I lose again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I hit I take the payout paid to me and I wager the original bet again. If I win this hand I then keep in play the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I win again I take the payout paid to me, and if I win the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original wager. I continue betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original bet.
I am very disciplined and do not back out. It gets extremely enjoyable on occasion. If you win a few hands in series your bets go up very quick. Before you know it you are gambling $100-200per hand. I have had fantastic streaks a couple of times now. I departed a $5 table at the MGM a couple of years ago with $750 after 60 minutes using this technique! And a number of days ago in Atlantic City I left a table with $1200!
You need to understand that you can give up much faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more exciting. And you will be aghast at the streaks you witness betting this way. Below is a chart of what you would wager if you continue winning at a $5 game.
Bet $5
Take $5 paid to you, leave the first 5 dollar wager
Bet $5
Leave 5 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid to you, leave the initial 10 dollar wager
Bet 10 dollar
Leave 10 dollar paid to you for a total bet of twenty dollar
Bet twenty dollar
Take $20 paid-out to you, leave the first $20 wager
Bet twenty dollar
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of forty dollar
Wager $40
Take forty dollar paid to you, leave the original forty dollar bet
Wager 40 dollar
Leave $40 paid to you for a total wager of 80 dollar
Wager eighty dollar
Take $80 paid to you, leave the original $80 bet
Bet 80 dollar
Leave eighty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Bet 160 dollar
Take 160 dollar paid to you, leave the original 160 dollar wager
If you departed at this point you would be up 315 dollar !!
It’s herculean to go on a run this long, but it occasionally happen. And when it does you can’t deviate and drop your bet or the end result will not be the same.
