I have enjoyed millions of hands of twenty-one. I began sneaking into the gambling halls when I was sixteen. I have wagered on online 21, I have counted cards, and worked with a team for a short while. With all that said I have still lost a lot of cash at 21. The gambling dens have made it very hard to defeat the casino.
I still enjoy the game and wager on a frequent basis. Over this time period I have gambled on a type of vingt-et-un called "The Take it Leave it Method". You will not get rich with this method or defeat the house, nonetheless you will have a lot of fun. This method is founded on the idea that blackjack seems to be a game of streaks. When you are on fire your on fire, and when you’re not you are NOT!
I play basic strategy twenty-one. When I do not win I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand. If I don’t win again I wager the lowest amount allowed on the next hand again etc. Whenever I win I take the payout paid to me and I wager the initial wager again. If I win this hand I then leave the winnings paid to me and now have double my original bet on the table. If I succeed again I take the winnings paid to me, and if I succeed the next hand I leave it for a total of four times my original bet. I keep betting this way "Take it Leave it etc". Once I do not win I lower the action back down to the original value.
I am very strict and do not back out. It gets extremely thrilling sometimes. If you succeed at a few hands in sequence your bets go up very quick. Before you realize it you are betting $100-200/ hand. I have had awesome streaks a number of times now. I left a $5 table at the Flamingo a number of years ago with $750 after 35 minutes using this tactic! And a number of weeks ago in Macau I left a game with $1200!
You must understand that you can say good-bye to a great deal faster this way too!. But it really makes the game more enjoyable. And you will be aghast at the runs you witness betting this way. Here is a chart of what you would wager if you kept winning at a 5 dollar game.
Bet five dollar
Take $5 paid-out to you, leave the first 5 dollar bet
Wager five dollar
Leave five dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of ten dollar
Wager 10 dollar
Take ten dollar paid-out to you, leave the first ten dollar bet
Bet ten dollar
Leave ten dollar paid to you for a total bet of 20 dollar
Bet $20
Take 20 dollar paid to you, leave the initial twenty dollar bet
Bet $20
Leave twenty dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of 40 dollar
Bet forty dollar
Take 40 dollar paid to you, leave the first $40 bet
Wager forty dollar
Leave $40 paid-out to you for a total wager of $80
Bet 80 dollar
Take eighty dollar paid to you, leave the initial eighty dollar wager
Wager 80 dollar
Leave 80 dollar paid-out to you for a total bet of $160
Wager one hundred and sixty dollar
Take 160 dollar paid-out to you, leave the original $160 wager
If you left at this point you would be up $315 !!
It is difficult to go on a run this long, but it can happen. And when it does you can NOT alter and drop your bet or the end result won’t be the same.
